The Operations Department performs the core Immigration function of immigration and monitering of movement in and out of the country and regulating the activities of foreigners.

The department functions are to regulate the entry and exit of the country, issuance of permits and visas, monitor and investigate, detention, removals, passport processing, collaboaration with other agencies, refugees and asylum assistance and border patrol.
