The Minister for the Interior, Honourable Mark Woyongo, has tasked the Ghana Immigration Service [GIS] to refuse to issue work permits to foreign nationals whose expertise are common to the Ghanaian work force and only grant permits to expatriates with skills not readily available on the job market. He said, GIS should come up with a comprehensive plan to reduce the influx of unwanted foreign labour which tends to deprive indigenes of the few jobs available. |
